Schuyler Quackenbush is an expert in audio signal processing, audio signal compression, real-time implementation of algorithms, assessment of algorithm complexity and speed-up of software realizations. He contributed heavily to the MPEG Advanced Audio Coding standard, and is currently the Chair of the MPEG Audio subgroup.
